The Cross Bar X mentoring program exists to bring together mentors for local youth, who along with parents/caregivers provide a young person with support, counsel, friendship and the hope of Jesus Christ.
It is our desire to extend the ministry of Cross Bar X beyond the summer camp and weekend retreat seasons. We believe that the greatest impact we can make in helping young people through the struggles of growing up is to provide them with a mentor who can walk with them through life.
Cross Bar X will serve as the overseer of this program and will provide:
· Background checks and thorough screening of all mentors.
· Training and equipping of tools, resources and guidance for those serving as mentors.
· Regular meetings with the mentors to provide help and support.
· Programming with events and activities for mentors and mentees at Cross Bar X.
This program is for any youth ages 8-18 in the four corners area who are in need of someone to provide support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and a positive example. Priority in placement will be given to those children who are from single parents, foster care/guardian care, temporary custody, or other unique circumstances.

If you are interested in being a mentor, contact tim@crossbarx.org for more details.
