2012 Camp Descriptions
Coed Session One: June 11-16th
Phoenix Coed : June 18-23rd
Denver Coed: June 25-June 30th
This group has a lot of energy which means we are exploding with action. Even if it’s your first time to go to camp, you’ll be amazed at what an exciting time you’ll have. You’ll be making lots of friends and enjoying new experiences together. There will be silly programs at night, crazy challenges to conquer as a cabin, exciting games and crafts, and all new adventures to experience. Learn how to ride a horse, climb a tower, feed baby animals, and so much more! Is there a better way you could spend a week this summer.
Eagle Camps: ages 11-13
Boys: Aug 5th- Aug. 11th
From Sunday to Saturday your week will be packed full of exciting activites and new adventures. Not only will you be participating in the usual camp activities, but you’ll get to go to the next level on the high ropes course and experience the adventure of "The Highland Games". And don’t forget the night games... They get better each year! There will be many challenges, lots of laughs, and tons of fun!
Boys Condor Expedition: ages 14-18
July. 30th- Aug 4th
Our highest adventure camp for those that are looking for more than your regular week at camp! You’ll be backpacking for 4 days through snow fields, beautiful meadows, and between awesome mountains. Want to really test your skills... Try building your own fire, learning outdoor skills and putting them to use, and packing everything you’ll need on your back! It’s a week of extreme activity and awesome talks with your leaders. What an adventure!

Red Hawk Camps: ages 14-18
Girls: July 3rd-11th
Boys: July 17th-25th
Once you reach Red Hawk camp, you’re ready for some high adventure. That’s why this camp is the longest of all the camps we offer... 9 days! Test your skills on the high ropes course, giant swing, and leap of faith. Experience the thrill of a white water rafting trip down the Animas river. Push yourself on a two night backpack trip. This is an extreme camp for our older campers. You’ll be challenged and stretched like never before, but you’ll have the time of your life experiencing it all. This camp was designed specifically for you!
June 7th-23rd
The Servant Adventure Leadership Training is an opportunity for you to spend 2 weeks serving behind the scenes at camp and seeing what it takes to be a staff person. You will be on support staff helping out in the kitchen, rec times, service projects, games, etc... You will also have your own program led by CBX staff who will guide you through activities that are specifically designed to to challenge you in your walk with God. Through a focus on the core principles of service, adventure, and leadership, your program staff will disciple you as you are pushed in ways you have never experienced. Program includes a 3-day backpacking trip.
Application and interview required for enrollment.
Program cost $250, which must be raised to participate in program.
