Here are just some of the major items included on our wistlist. If you can donate or cover the cost of any of these items, please contact the camp.
- Horses--One of the campers favorite activities is riding horses. Each year we need to put shoes on them. There are four horses at $100 per horse.We are also in need of 4 new halters at $20 each. We are always looking for gentle riding horses.
- Tile- We have a volunteer that is willing to put new tile in the kitchen of Alpine! We just need to purchase the materials which cost $400.
- Truck and Snowplow- The camp's current Bronco and snowplow are old and worn. Each year we have to do costly maintenance on the plow and vehicle. We would like to purchase a late model 4x4 truck and purchase a new snowplow. The cost is estimated at $18,000.
- Building Repair- Alpine and Eagle Lodge are two of the original log buildings at Cross Bar X. There are some logs that have some rot in them.
- Travel Trailer - Each summer we have a need for extra housing for volunteers. We are in need of a 28 foot or larger travel trailer. Possibly there is someone that no longer needs theirs and would like to donate it to the camp for a tax write off.
- Irrigation project-We have recently secured a change of water rights and will be able to pump out of our lake and irrigate about 25 acres of pasture. This will allow us to raise hay for our livestock. The cost is $20,000.
